I live local and am a patron of Mitchell's for several years, I took my wife's Nissan Sentra here last month for a wierd strange noise from underneath somewhere and strange vibrations from the brake pedal but only intermittent. I knew this could be a troubleshooting nightmare. They changed out a frozen bad caliper and rotor but the noise came back the next day. Mitchell's took the car back and for 3 days they trouble shot and eventually found and fixed the problem. The good part is they didn't charge me a cent for those extra 3 days, Dustin the boss is a saint, he was just sorry it took so long. Their honesty and communication through the whole process was outstanding. Thank you guys. Oh and the best part is my wife is happy too. RESULT.read more

Performed a engine swap on my truck in 2015, did an excellent job, and has stood by their work. Water pump went out 2 years after the swap, I expected to pay but Mitchell covered everything even labor under warranty and handled the warrenty paperworkread more

We were so blessed to stumble upon Mitchell’s! We were traveling back to Maine from Florida when my rear brakes started making an awful grinding noise. We drove to the shop the next morning and they took us right in and fixed the car in no time! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I wish that we had a Mitchell’s here in Maine! Had my wife's car blown tire replaced with a new tire they purchased for a specialty rim. It took them less than 25min. for $25 to place it on the time itself. Great coffee! and new facility. Ask for Garry. Recommend!

we were traveling on I-95 after a long ride from Vermont to Florida. My car was having issues and overheating which definitely raised our anxiety level. We got off at the nearest exit and were directed to Mitchell's Auto. This place was a godsend, not knowing where we were and being road-weary. Barry answered all our questions and put us at ease. He calmly figured out what was wrong, replace the radiator and got us back on the road within a few hours to complete our trip with the car running perfectly again. This repair shop is honest friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone if he was where I lived he would be my go-to mechanic. thanks again to you and your staff. you guys are the best!!! It is hard to find a good, honest Mechanic. I went to Savannah Tire for years before they were bought out. They have since become no better than national brands (over priced and untrustworthy). I was recommended to try Mitchell's. I drove by the place perhaps hundreds of times but never considered them. I am glad I gave them my business. I went in for an oil change and to get some small lights installed. They were fast, friendly and affordable. They even have free coffee and Wifi while you wait. If you are tired of the other guys, these guys are great.read more

I will be back this has to be the best service I have ever had and experienced, I was juggled by other auto places after driving 2 hrs one place couldnt fix my problem so I saw Mitchell's and said what the heck I'd give it a try and I'm so glad I did!! They fixed my problem, which was my floorboards being soaked due to a missing hose on my condenser drain, in and out in less than 2 hours, I highly recommend and I will bring all my services here!! Have lived in this area 30+ yrs. This auto repair shop is honest in estimates on jobs and ready to pick up you auto when promised, unless for a unforseen problem. I worked with the Technician, Kendall and couldn't have been more happy with his work and how professional he was to work with. He installed an air conditioner in a vintage car that I own. The installation was so good that it looks like my car came with it from the factory! I also referred a friend to him to look at and air conditioning problem and he was also pleased with his work. I just referred my neighbor with a steering problem to your shop. You have a real jewel with an employee like Kendall working for you.read more
